THOMAS'S LEARNING COMMITMENT
Well done to Thomas who has completed his learning commitment goal. Thomas made an amazing robot snake and shared this with the class. What a great effort!
A SPECIAL VISITOR TO ROOM 11 - Holly Robinson the Paralympian
On Thursday we were extremely lucky to meet Paralympian, Holly Robinson. Holly has recently competed in Rio, winning a silver medal in javelin. Holly was really inspiring to listen to. What an exciting visitor to have to our classroom.

FAMOUS ARTIST #3 = Piet Mondrian
Our third famous artist, was Piet Mondrian. Inspired by Piet, we made abstract art with blocks of primary colours and black strips.
FAMOUS ARTIST #2 = Henri Matisse
Our second artist that we studied was Henri Matisse. We made abstract art using paper shapes. To learn more about this artist, watch the movie above.
FAMOUS ARTIST #1 = Wassily Kandinsky
This term, we are learning about lots of famous artists and trying to replicate their artwork. Our first artist is Wassily Kandinsky. We created our own artwork in circle patterns, just like he did!
SYMMETRICAL TREES
At the moment in maths, we are learning about transformations. We started by learning about symmetry. Check out our amazing symmetrical trees!
